Today, globally Every 10 seconds, a child dies from hunger and malnutrition caused by food loss, drought, and disaster than any other cause. And it's no longer just about poverty alone it's about the planet. As our climate breaks, so does our ability to feed our children. About 85 % of all deaths caused by malnutrition occurs during their first 1000 days of life when nutrition determines growth and lifetime health. The burden is very high. Over 3.1 million children's deaths annually, 8500 dies in a single day. Living millions of other children under 5 immunologically weak, wasted, stunted and mentally retarded.
