Our Theory of Change
We believes that no child should die from malnutrition, especially in their most critical developmental period the first 1,000 days of life. Our theory of change starts with the understanding that climate shocks, displacement, and poverty create food deserts for refugee and Indigenous communities. In these environments, traditional farming fails, and mothers cannot access or grow nutritious food. We address this with Agri-SproutBOX a low-cost, climate-smart micro-farming system that uses recycled plastic and 95% less water to grow nutrient-rich sprouts based on WHO recommendation. Our Agri-SproutBOX, we enable them to feed their children life-saving nutrients, especially iron, folate, and protein critical for preventing stunting and death from malnutrition. As mothers grow NONO sprouts and nourish their children, we see rapid recovery from moderate malnutrition in 45 days, stronger immunity, and improved cognitive engagement. From our empowered 8,300 mothers to feed 12,200 children, we’ve shown that change is possible even in the harshest conditions. Over time, we envision a generation of children who not only survive but thrive, and communities that break the cycle of malnutrition the giant old problem that have lived for centuries continuing to cost lives. Our impact grows as more mothers become agents of change, leading their families toward health, resilience, and dignity in a changing climate.
